The Deutschlandhalle event location stands seconds prior to the explosion of its roofs support beams and columns by demolition company on December 3, 2011 in Berlin, Germany. The Deutschlandhalle, its opening attended by Adolf Hitler in 1935 and built by the Nazis to be the largest multi-use venue in the world, is being destroyed and dismantled over a period of months to be replaced by a modern conference center that is expected to cost 65 million euros and hold 9,000 visitors.
