Incredible Auroras Form in Alaska

Northern lights glow brightly and snake over the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Brooks Range, Alaska. Dazzling green light streaks across the sky in these breathtaking images of the aurora borealis. The naturally occurring light phenomenon was captured by New York photographer Steven Kazlowski, 44, who had travelled to Alaska. Now is thought to be the peak of an 11-year cycle which sees the Northern Lights perform their dazzling spectacle in the night sky. Steven said: [I find the aurora borealis to be otherworldly – it’s an amazing sky light show that happens as a natural phenomenon. Even when you see them you don’t believe it, they are so incredible, even magical].
