EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso and Jesus Echave, chairman of the HIRIKO-AFYPAIDA corporate consortium, sit in the first prototype of the HIRIKO electric car, during the global launch of Hiriko Driving Mobility at the EU Commssion headquarters on January 24, 2012 in Brussels, Belgium. The electronic, eco-friendly vehicle will be manufactured in deprived areas of cities who take up Hirikos [social purpose] model.
