Protesters are accompanied by clowns as they take part in the [Zero Nuclear Power Celebration Parade], as the rally makes its way through the streets of Suginami district, on May 6, 2012 in Tokyo, Japan. The parade was held to celebrate the first day of a [nuclear free Japan], after the Tomari nuclear plant on Japans Hokkaido Island was taken offline late on the previous evening of Saturday 5th May. The Tomari plant was the last of Japans 50 nuclear reactors to be closed down for safety checks, leaving the country temporarily bereft of nuclear power energy.
